first time...

On 27 march 2011, i woke up around 0540 hours local time. It was just like an ordinary day as i spent here at Kelantan. I woke up and the first thing i remember was to do morning briefing. So i pack my things and went to the cafe and i had nasi lemak for my breakfast. I look around and i will be the only one in my batch will go to hangar today. what ever it is..i have to go.so i went there by 6.30am bus and reach there approximately 10 minutes before 7.00am. i did my morning brief that day with 2 other senior and observed by Capt. Kamis(APAC 19). i was nicely done because not many question came for the senior nor from the captain. at 0750 other dudes from my batch arrived and just do what we always do at that time..WAIT for a miracle to happen..
few hours later a miracle just happen. i was walking with my batch mate(MA) to ops room and all of sudden Capt. Kamis ask my batch mate...

APAC 19 : Are you ready to fly?
MA  : Hmm..(pause a little while)..sir my batch mate sir..he didn't get his first sortie yet sir.
APAC 19 : Means that you not ready..ok.. Are you ready to fly?
 
he asked me and i was so happy i smiled and i answered yes

NM: Yes sir i'm ready to fly sir.hmm sir when are we going to fly sir?
APAC 19 : Now.
NM : OK sir(with a big smile on my face)
MA : Sir, can i go back seat with you sir?
APAC 19: Just now you said you don't want to fly.

my batch mate and i  just laugh and left the ops room to get my things and went to brief room

AL : Sir,can i backseat you sir?
APAC 19: Yes.

so i did pre-flight brief with Capt. Kamis accompanied by AL .

after that Capt. Kamis asked me to do pre-flight check at aircraft registration no. 9M-NRG 







done the pre-flight check, i went inside the cockpit and did my check list with help from Capt. Kamis. then he taught me how to set the system G1000. after the engine start-up..

APAC 19: APAC 19, request taxi
KBR Ground: APAC 19 taxi to holding point charlie, contact tower at 122.50

KBR Tower: Waalaikumussalam APAC 19, standby holding point charlie

KBR Tower: APAC 19 back track runway 10, you number 2 to depart

after one piper warrior take-off.

APAC 19: Ready
KBR Tower: APAC 19 clear to take-off, 500 feet turn right
APAC 19: clear to take-off, 500 feet turn right APAC 19

i put to 50% power, hold brake,engine all in green, that put to 100% power release brake and Capt. Kamis rotate at 59 knots. Capt. Kamis show me the Uban training area and show me the effect of control(eoc). then he gave me to control. he show me every exercise that in the syllabus of eoc by using rudder, elevator,aileron, throttle, and flaps.he also took me to 400 feet to view a white mosque. it is a very beautiful view from there.than he climb to 500 feet and asked me to go to Bukit Panau at the same height. it was good until wind came in.after that he asked me to climb back to 1000 feet and continued to go to my heading at Bukit Panau. after did all the training, we headed back to base. Capt.Kamis request to join the circuit and tower approved and ask to report at KB town. before reaching KB town, he asked me how to do report call  at kb town and i said ''KBR tower,APAC 19 overhead KB town at 1500 feet..",then he asked me to add "air field in sight" and i said ok. at KB town i make the call and  it was great because it is first time for me to call the tower. then tower reply to join early downwind and after that all the control was by Capt. Kamis until we landed safely at KBR airport. Capt. Kamis request to exit dispersal and approved. fuuhhh..he asked me to see him for de-brief and so i did met him to be credited on my eoc practice.
after that i resume my daily routine at the hangar...waiting...
that day i went back to crew at 6.30PM and it is very exhausted day because i spend 12 hours at the hangar.but today i gain something rather than nothing..
